General questions

Yes. NIVÓ is registered with the Chamber of Commerce and is a reliable and secure webshop. We have been selling sunglasses to customers from all over the Netherlands and Belgium since 2018. We are also affiliated with the partner network of Bol.com, among others. Our Chamber of Commerce number is 72447656.

Sunglasses

Yes. All our sunglasses are of good quality. Our sunglasses go through various test phases and we apply strict quality requirements. Before we put sunglasses on the market, they have been extensively tested and unanimously assessed as a high-quality product.

Yes. All our sunglasses have a UV400 filter and therefore give you the best protection for your eyes.

How sturdy sunglasses are depends on the frame. Some glasses are sturdier than others. In general, all our sunglasses are of good quality. We have tested them extensively and they meet our strict quality requirements.

NIVÓ glasses can be expected to last a number of years. If this is not the case, you may still be able to make use of the warranty. Read more in the category: Warranty and Returns.

Despite our strict control and quality requirements, it is possible that glasses with factory errors are present. If your glasses contain one of the following defects upon receipt, please contact us:

  • The release of a lens coating
  • Releasing the frame coating
  • Soldering errors on hinges
  • The lack of parts

Order

Determine which product(s) or sunglasses(s) you want to order. Then click on the ‘add to cart’ button. The product is then added to the shopping cart. The shopping cart will automatically slide open, after which you can go to the checkout page and pay via the blue button below. You can also open the shopping cart via the shopping cart icon in the menu bar. Would you like to order another product? Then close the shopping cart and add another product.

We will do everything we can to deliver your order as quickly as possible. If you place your order before 5:00 PM on a working day, the order will be shipped the same day. In most cases, your product will be delivered the next working day.

Yes. It is possible to cancel your order, provided it has not yet been processed. Would you like to cancel your order? Send an email to [email protected] with the subject: cancel order. Our team will then investigate whether it is still possible to cancel your package or whether it has already been sent.

Yes. It is possible to change your order, provided it has not yet been processed. Would you like to change your order? Send an email to [email protected] with the subject: change order. Indicate in your email what changes you want to make. Our team will then get to work on your request. If the product has already been shipped, we cannot make any changes.

Although we are happy to welcome you and help you, it is not possible to collect an order. Our packages are shipped from our shipping location. Don’t worry, we will deliver your order as quickly as possible.

Delivery

We ship all orders via PostNL. Both in the Netherlands and Belgium.

We will do everything we can to deliver your order as quickly as possible. If you place your order before 5 p.m., the order will be shipped the same day. In most cases, your glasses will be delivered the next day.

PostNL strives to deliver your order within 1 working day. A large number of our orders are delivered within 1 working day. Unfortunately, an order may be delayed. We obviously find this very annoying, but unfortunately we have no influence on it. Stay informed with the track & trace. If it takes too long, please contact our customer service so we can help you.

We deliver free on orders over €50! Independent of the size of your order and the country you are in (delivery only in the Netherlands and Belgium). If your order is less than €50, we use the following prices:

  • binnen Nederland: €3,95
  • naar België: €5,95.

Of course! We also deliver in Belgium. If you order before 5:00 PM on a working day, your order will usually be delivered the next day.

Payment

Of course. We only work with safe and verified payment methods so that you can pay safely.

Of course! If you want to see the product first and then pay, payment afterwards is possible. We work together with Klarna. This is a secure payment method to pay afterwards.

Warranty & Returns

We have a cooling-off period of 14 days. If the product or glasses are not completely to your liking, you can still return the glasses 14 days after receipt. The costs for returning the glasses are at your own expense and cost a maximum of €4.60 including Track & Trace code.

The right to return a product only applies to unused, undamaged and complete glasses. Glasses can of course be viewed and tried on, but if unnecessary damage occurs to the glasses, the item cannot be returned.

It is important that the glasses are carefully packaged so that the glasses cannot be damaged in transit. In addition, the glasses must be returned in their original condition and in factory packaging.

Glasses can be expected to last a number of years. If this is not the case, you may still be able to make use of the warranty. NIVÓ glasses have a manufacturer’s warranty of 24 months at the time the glasses are purchased. You are of course also entitled to the legal guarantee. This means that the glasses must do what you as a consumer can reasonably expect from them.

When you receive the glasses, it is expected that no errors have been made by the factory. There will always be a final inspection by NIVÓ before the glasses are shipped. However, it may still happen that there are glasses with errors from the factory. If your glasses contain one of the following defects upon receipt, please contact us:
